Thesis must be submitted by email on the submission date at the latest (for a detailed description, see "How to´s - Delivery of Thesis - Current Information Regarding Corona"). The three written copies including all forms can be submitted later in the first week of January.

Until further notice, certificates ("Scheine") will be accepted in electronic form (pdf) if they are sent directly by the examiner or his/her secretary from the official UdS email address to the examination office.
Electronic certificates sent by students will only be accepted if they are sent from the official student UdS email address (usually similar to s8....@uni-saarland.de) and the examiner gets a copy via his/her UdS email address.
In case of doubt, the examination office will ask the examiner.
Applications concerning the free shot regulation or for the repetition of the examination for the purpose of improving marks
The so-called "Coronavirus Ordinance" (German original SS20 and its extensions for WS20/21 and SS21), which provides, among other things, for the possibility of a free pass in examinations or for repeat examinations for the purpose of improving grades, in each case with a justified application, has come into force. Applications must be sent to the responsible examination board via this e-mail address only: firstname.lastname@example.org.You must also use your official student email address as the sender. This is the only way to ensure a clear assignment in connection with your name. To protect us from spam, all other sender addresses will not be processed. Furthermore, only the course of studies and degree (e.g. "Media Informatics Master") must be stated in the subject line. Applications should be submitted informally, but according to the Corona regulations the examination board expects to know about the reasons for your application.
Do not submit applications until the final exam results are available in thre LSF!
Only 1 free shot can be approved per lecture!
Concerns only the Bachelor's and Master's programmes in Computer Science and Cybersecurity: Applications regarding the free shot regulation must be submitted within 2 weeks after announcement of the examination results in the LSF.
Please also always indicate the exam date (or main or re-exam) of the lecture!
